Winner Takes It All is a fun and thrilling competition at the YONEX Luxembourg Open Finals Day!

Spectators can buy lottery tickets on Sunday for a chance to become one of the eight lucky finalists who will compete in an exciting shootout. Each finalist will try to shoot a shuttle into the giant shuttlecock.

The game continues until we have a single winner who claims the grand prize!

Prizes :

The Grand Prize includes the red YONEX bag as well as a racket, sponsored by Donald Schulz and a unique Polo signed by all 2025 YONEX Luxembourg Open winners.

All eight finalists receive an exclusive YONEX Luxembourg Open 2025 towel.

How It Works

  • Tickets are sold during Final 1 and Final 2 on Sunday at 2 EUR each. Sale starts around 13:00.
  • Tickets are sold at the buvette and by two teams moving through the stands.
  • After Final 3eight winners are randomly drawn.
  • Winners exchange their winning ticket for a finalist voucher. Vouchers must be claimed by end of the first set of final 3.
  • Finalists are briefed and escorted to the court area, where the competition happens between Final 4 and Final 5.
  • Order of play follows the voucher number — the lowest number shoots first.
  • Each finalist tries to shoot a shuttle into the large shuttlecock from a marked position. The same badminton racket is used by all finalists.
  • If more than one finalist hits, only they continue to the next round.
  • The competition continues until only one finalist remains! The organizer may adjust difficulty if needed.

 Questions and Answers:

Q1: Do I need to be a badminton player to win?

A1: No! Anyone can participate — although badminton skills might help. 😉

Q2: Can I buy as many tickets as I want?

A2: No, there is a limit of 5 tickets per person to give everyone a fair chance.

Q3: Can I give my winning ticket to someone else?

A3: Yes! You can hand your winning ticket to a friend if you prefer them to play.

Q4: Can I use my own racket and shuttle?

A4: No. All finalists must use the provided identical racket and shuttles to ensure fairness.

Q5: What happens if I miss the shuttle?

A5: If you swing and completely miss the shuttle, you get up to two more tries (maximum three attempts total).

If you touch the shuttle, even slightly, it counts as your shot.

Q6: What if I win multiple tickets?

A6: You’ll have one attempt per winning ticket, or you can transfer one or more spots to friends.

Good luck – and may the best shot win!
