From April 30 to May 3, 2026, the Coque in Luxembourg will once again welcome world-class athletes, officials, and fans. Behind every successful rally, every smooth arrival, and every unforgettable moment stands a committed and enthusiastic volunteer team.
Last year, our volunteers created an atmosphere that players, officials, and spectators truly appreciated. Their energy, professionalism, and team spirit were at the heart of the event’s success.

What to Know

Line judging is a crucial role. Previous line judges will be prioritized, but anyone who feels confident is warmly invited to apply. Finals assignments will be given (if available) to those who complete the most shifts during the tournament.

The Administration Office is the command hub of the YONEX Luxembourg Open, and you’re right in the middle of it. 

WHAT TO EXPECT 

Support the Organisation Team with key documentation, distribute communication tools, relay essential information, and help maintain operational flow. Organized and reactive, you keep the engine running.

Support catering operations, assist during peak service times, ensure smooth distribution, and maintain clean service areas. Your efficiency keeps everyone ready to perform

As both a welcoming presence and a guardian of access, you ensure that every person entering the gymnasium feels guided, informed, and properly accredited. Welcome teams, officials, staff, partners, and spectators throughout the week. Verify and distribute accreditations, manage access control, and handle special requests in coordination with the organization when needed. For spectators, you’ll oversee ticket verification and payment procedures, ensuring smooth and secure entry into the venue. You’ll also manage entry flow to maintain an efficient and positive arrival experience. Precision, efficiency, and strong interpersonal skills will define your mission.

When everything is in the right place at the right time, logistics has done its job, and that’s you. 

WHAT TO EXPECT 

Set up and dismantle courts, install equipment, handle deliveries, distribute equipment, assist with venue setup, restock supplies, and monitor inventory. Active and hands-on, you ensure smooth operations across the venue. 

Be the eyes of the court. 

Every rally counts, and your focus makes the difference. As a Line Judge, you play a vital role in ensuring fairness and accuracy on court. Calm, attentive, and impartial, you contribute directly to the integrity of the competition. 

WHAT TO EXPECT 

Positioned along the court lines, you’ll carefully observe shuttle landings and make clear, confident calls during matches. Working closely with the Chair Umpire and referees, you’ll help maintain the smooth flow of play and uphold the highest standards of fairness. Concentration, quick decision-making, and composure under pressure will define your performance. 

1. Audio Visual Media Assistant 

Power the pictures seen worldwide. 

Behind every spectacular broadcast is a dedicated team, and you are part of it. Calm, focused, and connected, you help turn live sport into unforgettable images.

Linked to the media office, you’ll ensure every decisive moment on the Field of Play is captured perfectly. You’re the bridge between action and production, making everything run like clockwork. 

 

2. Communication Assistant 

Share the passion. Amplify the moment. 

You bring the YONEX Luxembourg Open beyond the Coque walls, connecting fans everywhere to the excitement.

Follow the communication plan, manage social platforms, create engaging content, and capture key reactions in real time. Creative, reactive, and impactful, your work fuels fan engagement. 

 

3. English Writer 

Turn action into words. 

Through your writing, fans relive every rally, every emotion, every victory.

Produce match reports, daily summaries, and interviews in English. Capture the intensity and atmosphere of the YONEX Luxembourg Open and share it with a global audience. 

 

 

4. Media Assistant
